TAXES
Dems = less tax for the poor and middle class and more tax on the rich
Rep= less tax for the rich and a little more tax on the middle class

HEALTH
Dems = Universal health care for all children and improved health care plans for many of the rest of the millions of American without healthcare.
Rep = let everyone pay for their health care out of the tax breaks, which I will give them if they buy health insurance, [ which means tax breaks for people who can afford expensive health plan, but not for those who already can't afford one]

& ;nb sp; THE WAR
Dems = start pulling troops out of Iraq but send some more to fight Bin Laden in Afghanistan
Rep = no rush to pull them out yet, maybe some day , but if and when we do, then we can send lots of troops to Afghanistan

ECONOMY
Dems = massive 10 year alternate energy plan putting millions to work, and stop sending money to the Arabs , partly paid for by a tax
on the huge profits the oil companies just made
Rep= more tax breaks for oil companies so they can drill for more oil, and
no tax breaks for alternative energy development

Dems = more Regulation of industries so we don't have the mortgage and financial mess we now have, with big companies robbing us blind.
Rep=&nbs p; less regulation or none at all

Dems = tax breaks for companies that stay in America
Rep=tax breaks for companies that Leave America


SOCIAL SECURITY
Dems = since the rich only pay Social Security tax on a little of their income while the rest of us pay tax on ALL our income, we can save Social Security just by making the rich pay on just a little more of their income then they pay now, not even on all, like the rest of us do.
Rep= I don't know what I can do yet to save Social Security but I'll think of something.

HUMAN RIGHTS
Dems = woman's right to choose with her health decisions made with her doctors advice, and more measures to prevent unwanted pregnancies so there will be less abortions
Rep = anti-abortion , anti Sex education, we will tell the doctors and nurses what they could and should do.

Dems = Equal rights for gays
Rep= damn them to hell

EDUCATION
Dems = teach science in science class, and religion in religion class.
Rep = teach religion in science class, take the science out .

Dems = massive investment in our public schools and teachers, paid for out of the money we save getting out of Iraq .
Rep = school vouchers - which will bankrupt many public schools, and give lots of money to the rich who's kids are already in private schools

no chit..wats the big idea...we all kno the central bankers put who they want in office ...just think if noone voted wat would happen??.......the same thing as if everyone had voted...a republican in office...i personally dont gve a chit..but ..media drags this into the dirt..turn off your tv's ..and get your popcorn ready....if mccain goes into office ..its just one more step into one world government..

personally, I dont understand, why the choice between two parties is called "democratic". Its a weird system the former anglican nations overtook from their mother England, with Tories and Labours. Whats up with the rest of political opinion? Do alternative parties have a chance for being elected, or is the establishment so powerful and mighty to keep the ball between those two political directions - by the way, the difference between Conservatives and Democrats are getting less clear, so it becomes like the choice of two evils, for me, watching this from a distance. I did not study politics, so I might not understand the sense of this two-party-system. It is representing a social system, that was valid 100 years ago, but not today anymore, in the 21st century.
In my cultural rim, elections always include several parties, people can chose out of. The winning parties form coalitions, the rest goes into opposition, where they still have a political voice in decisions - except the coalition is strong enough to build the majority needed. Thats what I call Democratic System. Sure, as a citizen with a political opinion, most of the electable parties drop out. As a left oriented man, there are f.e. in Austria about 4 out of 7 parties, I would never ever vote for. But I still can decide between 3 parties, how far I want to go left, social-democrates near the middle, or communist party far left.
And sure, there are enough people becoming victims of populist campagnes, especially the (far)right wing is usually starting. They try to make people fear, telling them about enemies attacking their status quo. And if there is no more enemy left, they create a new one (does that sound familiar for people in the states?). And this all, to strength the personal might and influence, and private economic fortune amongst the holders of the force and their families (should also sound familiar...)
