Create your own word art with Wordle

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends

This is what the PSC all-time leaders list looks like

I thought this looked familiar.

I tried using it to create a piece for the company owners. Tough to get it to emphasize the words I wanted it to do.

Marty, Looks like we will just have to settle with being on the FBI's list. I'm # 26 so far. Cool

Wordle?....shit, does it have spell checker. If not...i will have to get out a dictionary to use it. Razz

I guess I missed BigBuck's find.

If I understand correctly, it makes words bigger based on the number of repeated use. This is what I get from "one two two three three three..."

I just read through that entire thread. Makes me wish I had stumbled upon this nook of the internet a few years ago. It seems like it was and continues to be an awesome place.

Yeah I figured that out too. Then it was CTRL-R several times to get them into the order I wanted. Laughing

I shoulda just done it by hand. But it's fun to see what wordle comes up with for arrangements.

Just repeat the important words several times and you can right click on words and remove them too.

yep...pretty cool for creating a quick graphic.
I used it earlier this school year to create a nice image header for a couple of the classes I teach.
