Hot topic of the day seems to be all about voting. Soo.....

Last night my darling sweet daughter poses that Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs are way better than Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. Her position is that the Egg variety have more peanut butter and are therefore better. I propose that the additional chocolate in the cup variety make them infinitely better.

Please discuss...

my daughter says that both will kill her in 8 min flat since she is highly allergic to peanut butter.

Death by asphyxiation! I can't think of a more horrifying thing to have to deal with as a parent.

I did, in a highly secure location! (my garage) Laughing Then washed my hands and brushed my teeth...

It is one mother of a task for a parent to take on... Think about it... everywhere she goes, everything she does, we and she have to make sure nothing has any peanut butter in it. At school, field trips, friends houses, at the movies, when she goes to parties, everywhere! We were bowling on our league last Month and another girl came up and gave her a big hug while she was eating a snickers bar. Confused

It will get easier for her as she gets older, but at 6yrs old, the other children don't get that she literally has 8min to get to the Hospital before shes dead.

I keep saying it wont be the peanut butter that kills my daughter...
It will be the ignorance of other people that will.
You wouldn't believe how many people when they hear "peanut allergy" think cats and dogs type stuff happens, not death.

OK. I'll have to agree that Reeses Peanut Butter Cups are WAY better than Reeses Peanut Butter Eggs. But my personnel favorite is breaking off the strips of a Hershey bar and dipping them right into a jar of Jiff Peanut Butter. The peanut butter amount varies with each dip and that creates variety. Nothing Better. Very Happy

Mmmm.... Both have their good points. I like to nibble the chocolate edge off the cups before eating the middle, but it can be messy if the paper comes all the way off. Where as the (small) eggs are a quick and satisfying bite. The mini-cups are, too, but I usually bite the thicker chocolate top off first. Over all, though, I definitely prefer the regular cups. (1) I'm a chocoholic. And (2) the seasonal and miniature varieties (foil-wrapped) both have a tendency to get more dried-out, even "fresh" from the store. Razz

My brother is allergic to peanuts. I usually "verify" the safety of his candy before he can have any. Wink
