let me explain it for everyone, i went and checked the code for the "view single contest" in the h2h. Please note that this code is probably as old as psc, anyway, when calculating the winner a tie is not contemplated (!?!?), it simply shows the first chopper from the left as winner (in this case mason - mason v jerico). I've never checked this because i assumed this kind of event was already covered?
Now here is where the new code kicks in: when each round is closed the winners are calculated and because the event of a tie is thoroughly covered, jerico resulted as the winner. In this case jerico posted first so in the tournament page and in the brackets the correct result is shown.
Sorry mason you're another "victim" of psc's very old code 
Once we get to fix this glitch the correct result will be shown also in the single contest view page.
The result is final, jerico passes the turn because he posted first.

Aaaaaaaah, I hate ties! Soooo frustrating!
But then... last tourney, I TIED with the guy that BEAT ANFA!

Neither entry won. A tie isn't a win. Sorry, both will have to sit out the rest of the tournament. Or.... do a quick Battledome chop.

yet another qualifier that needs to be spelled out in the rules as they don't explain what happens to ties. I think we all know that the tie goes to the first post in the daily comps...but it should be explained for the H2H.
and Marco, losing by one vote is horrible. Glad I didn't do the brackets thingy 'cause you'd still be going strong if I had.

this site was all about speed chopping before this 30 day advantage crap, (personally I'd knock it back to 7 days with a weekly no advantage chop, but thats just me) obviously the first to post should win
