If edges have to be a little fine-tuned to make it flow better then go for it, what happened to the couch potato anyway?

Sorry for the confusion everyone. I guess RETT decided to do his own assembly of the ROLL. I incorrectly assumed he'd gotten that image from the actual Work In Progress, and needless to say I was upset when my work was mangled.

So all is good again. Except that I just realize we just missed our chance to get rid of that crappy image that DewDew supplied us with! Razz Laughing Wink

[it's a JOKE, Dew. Put down that gun!]

Yes!!! I did do my own assembly. I did not see the blend that you did Rein.

I didn't know this was going to cause such an uproar. I think I should jump on the "My Apologies" thread. Dew I do apologize, what you saw was what I tried to do in all of about 15 minutes of work (obviously I don't know much about PS).

ReinMan, I see your blend work and it looks great. But, I must explain my original intention of posting a reply to this topic. I downloaded the posted "finished" pics and tried to seam them myself. They didn't seam very well. I just wanted to make sure it would be a seamless roll. I didn't know there was work going on behind the scenes and I am very sorry that I've offended anyone.

It's obvious that this is well under control and I'm going to STFUAC (or try)!

Once again, I'm sorry...DewDew, ReinMan, and everyone else.

Laughing Don't sweat it for very long, Rett! If this is the BIGGEST misunderstanding I have here at PSC this year, I'll be getting off VERY lucky indeed! At least you had the concerns of the final product in mind without caring whose feeling you crushed into the dust Twisted Evil - you'll end up making a good Creative Director some day, God help you! Wink

Okay - everyone. GET BACK TO WORK. NOTHING TO SEE HERE NOW!!!! Very Happy

I just realized how this is working. Shocked

I know I'm slow. I was figuring that this would work like the roll canvas project did and that I'd be provided with the image to the side of my slot.

Now it sounds like I can work on my own section and post-blend with the chops to the side(s) of mine? Is that correct?

If so then I think I should start the dang thing. Laughing

P.S. @ Rhett. Don't knock yourself. I think the grass portion on your edit isn't too shabby! Very Happy

I never can hear the lyrics or understand them without looking them up. So here are the lyrics to fearless, along with a rough outline of the timing of slides. I'm interested in seeing how the blending of this will work out.

1.(instrumental)DJ
2.(instrumental)
3.- You say the hill's too steep to climb
Climb it.
4. - You say you'd like to see me try
Climbing.

5. You pick the place and I'll choose the time
And I'll climb
That hill in my own way.
Just wait a while for the right day.
6. And as I rise above the tree lines and the clouds
7. I look down, hearing the sound of the things you've said today.
8. (instrumental)
9. (instrumental)
10. (instrumental)
11.Fearlessly the idiot faced the crowd
Smiling. Smile
12.Merciless the magistrate turns 'round
Frowning. Sad

13. And who's the fool who wears the crown? king
And go down,
in your own way
14. And every day is the right day
And as you rise above the fear-lines in his brow
15.You look down, hearing the sound of the faces in the crowd.
16. (instrumental)
17. (instrumental)
18. (instrumental)
19. (instrumental... start of crowd chants)
20. (louder chants... instrumental fades)
21. (chants only)
22. (cheering) cheers

Anyone do a timestamping of these transitions? Will my chop have to be wide enough to accommodate the slot I've got? Or will the slide be adjusted to display the chop long enough?

Seems my slot starts at 4:58..... The chants make me immediately think crowd scene....

Would really love to see the song with the pics so far to get a vibe for the whole thing.

ok...sorry for the wait......
Eve and Nathan..I hope you are ok with the transitions...I tried to do as little mods to yours as possible......difficult, but I think it looks ok. Let me know if you would like me to modify or if you would like my original to do a different transition.
