I started looking into this because we found a black widow in our room a few weeks ago and I was curious if this type of spider was venomous also. Little did I know that it was a black widow also. When I saw it on the garbage can today, I thought I would find out it was some type of garden spider. Glad I took a few snapshots to look it up. Now I'm wondering if there might be an infestation around my house. Last thing I need is my daughter to get bitten by one of these. Sad

You might really consider having a check around your house, brown widows are nocturnal so there might be much more of them hidden.
