sorry that i have miss a couple of contests and voting
but been going through some depressing times

my wife found a lump in breast. so called the doc and she said because she was pregnent and breast feeding it could be a milk clot which It is very common in pre-menopausal women.so give it 2 weeks or so to see if it goes away. WTF 2 FUCKING WEEKS??????

like what if its cancer do we see if that goes away in 2 weeks? so i said fuck that...so we called the doc again and said get her checked NOW..

so the doc said ok i will refer you to get checked and it should be a quick response.

well that was on tuesday? and still no word

so were both in limbo..HOPEFULLY it will be fine..and we can get back to being well happy

Sorry to read about the harsh times you're having right now, stay positive though, cysts & milk clots during breastfeeding are extremely common.

Hopefully you'll hear something back from your doc & be able to escape the limbo life you're living there. My fingers are crossed for you both!

I'm sure the PSC community is willing to offer moral support in the meantime.

But I understand your fear. Maybe you can go to an other doc or an specialist in a hospital?
Stay calm my friend, cause it is very very common during breastfeeding!

From an experienced breast feeder, I think the doctor was right to give you the two week wait option. Try not to worry Starman, hugs to Starwoman and baby

Sorry to hear you are going through this and having the resulting stress. Just make sure she keeps breastfeeding, and I believe another suggestion is to put warm compresses on the affected area. (If it is a clogged duct, which IS very common).

Come back and let us know how it all works out!!! Now you have all the chopchicks worried!
