Great song... but I prefer the original version from the master Leonard Cohen:

Yeah! I have also the Buckley's version. It is excellent! Jeff Buckley had such a great voice and very talented, but I think I prefer the way Cohen expressed his song... sure it sounds a bit old, but I like it that way.

I'll go with other old stuff...
When I was 15, I listened a lot of funk-jazz.
Herbie Hancock and some crazy piano...

Mahavishnu Orchestra, with guitarist John McLaughlin , Michael Walden on drums, Jean-Luc Ponty (violin)...

I got a chance to see Herbie Hancock in '95 (yeah...I know...well beyond his heyday, but...) when he reformed "Headhunters" and their Return Of The Headhunters album released. It was a GREAT show!! Not as good as their first (stellar)album but ....Great fusion.....still after all the years.

OK...something old ....adn something a bit newer

Tom Waits - "Tom Traubert's Blues"

OK, Claf's Mahavishnu Orchestra made me realise that I could try to dig up one misterious old band from the past too - They were a big favorite in the '70s - I had their albums, not sure if I have ever seen them play but they were in Europe at the time.

Osibisa - a band that came straight from misterious Africa in those days.

Osibisa - Gong Gong Song

Osibisa - The Dawn Live
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aBPNj-Ww3w

Enjoy your morning exersise with these little pieces of music (dawn live starts after an interlude and then they will show you how the world wakes up)

Oh, and the flute..... that reminds me
