Take 2 shots and a few tokes and things start appearing. Works for me!!

This happens to me as well. Sometimes I will flip the image around, add a few filters and maybe distort it here and there. If after say about 5 minutes and nothing comes to mind, I will try the same with another image. But I mostly find things easier depending on my mood and the image itself. For me images that have a lot of elements in it I seem to get more ideas and votes on completion. But strangely sometimes images that have fewer elements to work with seem to place better and less votes. But sometimes it's a mixed bag. Just take some time off and you will come back fresh with new ideas. In fact I may even do the same, but still stop in from time to time to place a vote or two.
