If you just go ahead and fail this yrer, you'll have another year to reach your contest goal.

= LOL

Well, I'm not too far removed from high school. I'm just a year out of college. But by the same token, I'm already starting to tell stories about the times I walked to work in the snow, barefoot, uphill both ways, just to make a penny an hour.

Art Intstiute?
Ask anyone, in the 'sixties' being different,
being an individual, being creative
and having YOUR OWN ideas and
a willingness to try and invent new things, and new ways, and new ideas-
NON-CONFORMATIONISM was the great ideal of self empowerment
-to not conform-not be just another clone-
that's why everyone in the sixties all ended up looking alike and
dressing the same and further went on to birth...
political correctness.
ponder these things before entering your new school.
Allow them to teach you, inspire, give you the tools
to skillfully express your art.
But please, don't let them TELL you how to think like an artist,
don't let them sing their siren songs and make you
just another one of them-- be yourself,
do your art--be YOU- they're very clever - be always dilligent.
From experience i will tell you-I know artist who managed to
get schooled , who avoided the "culture" and did not
make the the social art world thier world- they've excelled
far above their peers.
good luck Smile

Scion? and which one is you in your avatar again? J/K, you could probably put both of your ages together and maybe equal the age of "Reason" you just poeticly inscribed up thar in this thread. And 2nd to none I might say as far as the "wisdom" factors goes. It appears you've learned from the school of hard knocks , yet be thy own self, (even if it means being "classified anti whatever Society disapproves of then Syndrom), in short, another TRUE SURVIVOR! welcome into the Elder brainless clan so we're called. ( too much herb might of been my excuse, but hey! I forgot if it really was), now where was I going with this????????? Oh well guess that was just my age groups' selective memory loss syndrom??? I'll catch ya for tea some other time when I remembers okay? Rolling Eyes Laughing Smile Very Happy Shocked Embarassed Cool OH! PEACE DUDE!
