Have just found out about this and its not half bad......

Go to 'add a contact' (using e-mail address)
and put in 'encarta@conversagent.com'

Its an info-bot that access' Encarta to answer queries........
......and it made me smirk when, after it had answered my question, I typed 'cool, bye' and it came back with 'no probs, laters'

Thanks for the referral. It does provide information that is informative and interesting,
However, In order to receive some types of information, you must subscribe for $4.95 a month to receive the premium upgraded version. For example, I asked the 'bot', "Why do birds fly?" It answered with some general data about what birds are, and suggested links to " birds in motion", and other data links referencing the study of birds. When I tried to access the "birds in motion" link, I was directed to a message advising me that that information was only provided to subscribers who had the premium upgraded version of MSN. and, of course, it offered information explaining how to order the advanced version.

My hunch is that a person intending to do serious research on this site would need the upgraded version to really benefit from its service. For fun, topical questions the site will provide information and entertainment at no cost to the regular subscriber. Smile

[quote="Patre"]asked the 'bot', "Why do birds fly?" ]

Patre this is a 2 part question!
Part 1 Why? This question has been asked forever by poets, artists, scientist, religous leaders and just plain guys like you and me.

Part 2: Do birds fly? The answer is yes.

Cheers, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
