You mixed up Canada & the deep north... Here, because of the super stupid over consumption of burning fuels (the main cause of both air pollution & climate change... and who's the biggest consumer?), we dont have real winter anymore. Now, it's close to NYC weather... this January, half of the time, it was over the freezing point... no sense! I never saw that!

people just vote how they've always voted.. they don't listen to the canidates, the only reason the gov. changed here was cause of that crap w/ martin... now we have homophobic ppl running the country and setting canada back 5 years socially, wonderful. personally if everyone just listened to the words of the people who were running they'd see that aside from the 2 major parties there was a 3rd larger party that wasn't really "evil" at all, the NDPs... but suprise suprise! they got pushed aside again, even tho in past elections they've had really good plans and stuff... maybe in a red and blue world people just don't like orange?
