Kick it up a notch! study fine art and photoshop tutorials, take as much time as you can to create a picture, change it if you have to" be honest and encourage with constructive criticism" be the best you can be! if you fail, get up and try again! there's no good enough"
give 100 % to every entry. love your neighbor as you love yourself Rolling Eyes humble yourself and dont be afraid to ask questions" Wink we are all learning together. Cool use at least 10% source and most of all, dont be a vote whore! Laughing Shocked

Ok .... message for Tofu and evbdy interested ...
My way to go "out of the bow" is pretty like this..; it comes from one of the best painter of XXecentury. I use the best known property of oil painting with PS : it dries slowly.
It can start hazard... action painting-like. If you don't have any precise idea, it can works good. U create several layers, painted in distinct colors, effect of many kinds for instance... try the big mess for 1/4 hour then start to organize... try this my friend....the idea or just (n its the most important) the whole feeling may appears in this mess... etc

I haven't found anything on how to achieve the effects I want to do and since I don't know enough about layer blendings, channels, etc I don't even know where to begin for experimenting.

Pah! Then experiment with layer blendings. Do you know who taught me?....Me!
Just experiment mate, you'll get there in the end!

I agree with u Anfa... I walk alone too... but that guy i talk about, was a lonely cow-boy too and learned o lot from scientific photography for instance, so i wanted just to say that you can learn sometimes more from other materials than just a chop.

I listen these days the radio Dj Tsitra runs live 365, and it's ok because I can switch to what i want... but in general it goes from trip-hop... passing thru free jazz... to industrial, hardcore etc..I like good old hip-hop (rare) . Im not too much blues,.. Bowie or Stooges are greate, the Doors ....... . I like baroque classical stuff too, and 75's 80s cold/new wave... I think that's it ... And you Anfa ?
