I am sorry to report that Tom West (aka
DoctorWu) passed away last night Wed. 8/30/06
in Southern California after a long long hard fought battle with cancer.
His family sent this note:
He loved participating in the contests and now his family and friends have so many
more wonderful art pieces to enjoy and remember Tom by because of PSC. Being
creative was Tom's whole life and he got so much enjoyment out of creating art
online once he couldn't leave his bed any more.
Tom made some good online friends as well from your site but was unable to keep up
with his submissions and contacts for several months now. I just wanted everyone
that knew him to know that he suffers no more and has with his many talents gone on
to become a true creator of all things beautiful and every time I look at the moon
I'll be seeing him.
