Here is a singer who has gotten me through many weekends, when I locked myself in my room to knit a new dress or jumpsuit in 48 hours.... (yes, I too had a life long ago.....Cool )

Gino Vanelli - Powerful People
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6YpvcCCgCM

And, thanks to the power of the YT, here is a very pleasant mix, Black Hole Sun (the Soundgarden version actually made me get interested in alternative music, I felt very dapper when I listened to that)

Soundgarden version:

For those who like the Black Hole Sun, but would like to keep their sanity, here is the Chris Cornell acoustic version

It wasn't the music as such that I did not want to listen to, because I listened to the music on radio all the time.

Visualisation did the trick for me, the Black Hole Sun video on MTV at the time made me curious about other things to look at, and with other things to look at came better music to listen to.

Try this one for a change - they are such a wonderful lot:

The Zimmers - Firestarter

(Original here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmin5WkOuPw )

(I will sneak in one more of The Zimmers - Old and Wise
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLF0cEPe4-E )

PS - http://www.youtube.com/user/geriatric1927 - the man who is singing in that Zimmers video is a very modern grandad, who puts his memory online, in little talks )

Something for everybody: I will end todays contribution with the other side of the mucial spectrum - something very old, that I play when I am working on complicated stuff that needs focus.
