I had a similar problem about half year ago with win xp, ie and ps cs2... this solution worked for me so maybe you can try it to Wink
1. if i WASNT connected to internet i got that msg so i tried again after connecting and it worked
2. sometimes if i clicked on some other program to run and then imediatly click on ps it wouldnt start and gave me that msg, so i simply started it again when the hard drive stoped working...

who knows... maybe it will work for you too Wink good luck

I can confirm that iE7 is a Bone Vacuumer... in a BAD way.

If you use Dreamweaver in XP and you had iE7 installed, it would tend to delete ALL your site FTP passwords and info. Which meant you had to enter in your FTP info for every client/site every time you opened Dreamweaver. Even using the Import function didn't make this a very fun situation.

Got rid of iE7, uploaded FireFox and happy was I again!

(now that I'm running iMac this is not an issue - there are NEW issues with Dreamweaver instead! Sad Ah - no rest for the wicked!)
