But seriously Bob, look at the prize contest now, 7 entries, and I'm gonna bet that 6 of them have the hand of A.I. in them!

I noted the same exact thing G. I thought about messaging you to say the *tide has turned*. I've also noticed a couple of significant things in my image searches, 1.The genuine photo quality offered is diminishing 2.a huge % increased of AI material into the search engines.

You're absolutely right about the huge increase in AI material on the internet, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting one!

The only reason I'm here is because I love playing with photoshop. I remember my very first entry on Worth1000 (it was a change location contest, and I moved Lincoln from his memorial to the Parthenon) I got a ton of comments, all giving helpful advice. I can't see any fun in getting advice on correct texting to get an image, sorry.

This is the way I look at it Bob, instead of searching the net for that "perfect" background to place your source in, ...perfect light and shadow and perspective, I rather create it myself and have more control over it.

A Darn good ol' school Reptilian Slash, Lux! Your Contest Version is a must see to fully appreciate.
IMO Slash's best solo riffs were with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators.
I especially like Sweet Child O' Mine.
Instead of painterly I've been working on photo-realism using Deviantart's DreamUp generator. I'm improving, I think maybe .
It needs work on the fingers and the guitar is frick'n tarded... but I like it's energy.

I also rendered a hybrid Lizard-Slash. It looks cool but the hat is wrong and no wild hair.

OK, Larger size--->https://i.imgur.com/I9szu6S.jpeg Guitar is still tarded but workable.
file size= 2167x1687 - 2.26MB - 150dpi
An alone guitar render. Has too many control knobs but much better.
Prompt: "sunburst Les Paul electric guitar 1959 standard"
file size= 3328x4608 - 2.68MB - 150dpi

I find if you give Ai too much info it's ears begin to smoke

Joe Camel, Miami Beach Today. Older but still "Cool" and in great shape.
Larger 1024x1024--> https://i.imgur.com/U1BG92b.jpeg
Prompt: *photo-realistic, digital- painting, create a close-up portrait of a happy Joe Cool Camel with large mouth and looking down, smoking a cigarette, wearing dark black sunglasses and blue suit, palm trees in background, soft-contrast*
not looking down and I had to add the cigarette
It's an anthropomorphic image if you have that style option to select

I had a very interesting exchange with Grok AI the other night. It had nothing to do with chopping or AI-generated images. Rather, it was about a simple four-line poem I dashed off in a few minutes a couple of days ago:
Prisoner
The alarm, like a small damped xylophone,
summons whenever I stand alone.
The texts and the news feeds are casting a spell
that drags me relentlessly back to my cell.
I asked Grok to analyze the poem.
I then asked it to harshly analyze the poem.
I then asked it to harshly analyze its first analysis.
I then asked Grok to harshly analyze its second analysis.
Finally, I asked for an analysis of the stream of responses to my previous prompts.
I think the exchange may be highly instructive for anyone interested in understanding AI. At the very least it is entertaining.
I can try to format it to post here, if any are interested.

Sure Ted, that sounds like fun!
Societally speaking "Prisoner" is the natural progression from "Slavery". Said transition usually occurs if your non-compliant or have out lived your productive usefulness. In which case the end is very near.
