tried some maths: palin said, she could see russia from her place. so, here a quick sketch that shows, that she must live on an altitude of 313 kms, to have a direct view to the russian coast, which is about 2.000 kms away from here place. guess there is only few oxygen in such a hight Laughing

y = square of distance divided by double-avarage-earth-diameter (6.371 km)

and now, go and vote for her, if you still can...

How's this for being presidential.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfZcw5nrNvA

There is a limit on people's intelligence, however there seems to be no limit on stupidity.

The thought of this bimbo with the other key to nuclear war is beyond belief.

Yet apparently the polls are tightening up. Are Americans actully voting for McCain/Palin or is it all smoke and mirrors as usual?

Every other country is just laughing at McCain/Palin, but its a nervous laugh too, because having a guy in charge of the most powerful nation on earth when he can't remember what he said moments before is quite worrying. But if anything happens to him and Palin gets in... well we are all doomed Shocked

As far as I'm aware most Brits are bored silly with the ongoing Barrack vs McCain/Palin (McCain's = a household brand of chips ('fries') over here!)...our own politics are tedious enough, but America's seems to be like a soap opera saga. Yawn...

Rolling Eyes Argh Very Happy

afro vs bigsmurf ?!

Marco. in a country where 60% believe in the literal Noah's ark like two of each animal were f**king on a boat built by a 900 year old man anything is possible.

George Carlin said ( I wish I had thought of this) "Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that."

also fact, put 2 of every animal on a boat for a long sea journey and at the end of it you should only have a couple of well fed lions Rolling Eyes Laughing

Did you know that the instructions given in the Bible for building the Ark boat are very sturdy and the basis of construction for a lot of boat building today. Very Happy

(Not including the Titanic...)

seamusoisin you need to seriously knock of
the hate bullshit.
Coming in here calling people names,
and making bigoted statements is
unacceptable.
If you don't have anything to say without the insults then just shut up.
And Marco. You've been putting a good bit of effort into being ignorant, political, and trying to stir crap up.
Gran's post is at least funny, and within the norm of
any political punditry.

I am not trying to stir anything up, I am saying exactly what I see, McCain and Palin are a joke, but American media spin it totally different and in most cases manage to lie to make McCain sound like a good choice.

Trust me, not being in America we get a much clearer picture from over here in the UK, same for other countries too no doubt. Our news networks have nothing to gain by spinning bullshit like your do.

But carry on.
