Ditto the sentiment C, he was a great actor and an even greater humanitarian, he will be widely missed worldwide.

I knew he was battling cancer and was only waiting to hear the bad news, Paul Newman was one of the greatest actors ever, he shot a movie in my neighborhood @ 20+ years ago (Harry & Son) they used a few houses that were literally in walking distance from my house, he was also into car racing and became good friends with a school buddy of mine during that time, he will be missed, a tribute next year would be very cool.

For the record, I have not ever once tried any of his dressings, nor do I intend to in the near future. RIP Paul Newman.

He was a good guy. He lived right next to where I work.I'm sure the town will have a big tribute to him. I'll take pics if they do. Same town. The Westport playhouse is right up the road. He did many plays there. He gave soooo much to the community and asked for nothing. All proceeds from his products go straight to charities. He also used to race around town. He kept one of his race cars near a town where I grew up. He will be missed.

Splodge..you rock!! Wherever you are.
I keep checking the obituaries to see if my name is there. If it's not, then I figure I'm ok.

And he was a stylish (seemingly) gentleman even in the last scene of his last movie (Road to Perdition). RIP
