Can anyone tell me please, how to empty my scratch discs??

open / explore scratch disc select files delete

well eve would know more than me. My old computer crashed all the time so I made a partition on my external drive 5gigs dedicated to use for scratch disc. It helped to not use all the resources from my main drive, but like I said I am a noob

if you have a fairly new computer you can boost your memory usage by going to Edit/Preferences/Performance.
if you have an older computer, look into getting more RAM.

do you have a partition on your hard drive set up just as scratch disc and if so did you tell photoshop to use it? It will look like a separate drive when you click on my computer. If so open that drive and delete the files. If not then it it using bits and pieces of your hard drive and it is scattered in that case hope for Vokaris to reply or you might try to send him a PM
