You COULD go Old School with it:
A) print out a photograph of image you want to wrap.
B) have 3D object ready in left hand.
C) take printed image in right hand and physically wrap it around 3D object.
D) take camera and photograph wrapped 3D object.
E) have a beer.
(though this WILL work in a pinch, you might be better off listening to ANYONE else other than me, in this case.
