the first ever animated .gif on the inter net, not your first, the first ever, i blieve it was CompuServe that made it posable, i got some old clasics but i'm wandering how it went from pitmaps to animated .gifs,
one of my oldest, but i know thay go back way farther,

EDIT: More about The GIF Controversy concerning the Unisys / Compuserv patents, which expired in 2004.

Still haven't found "the first animated .gif," but I'm still searching. Smile The information uncovered thus far has been interesting... I had no idea that the simple little .gif would have such a complicated history.
