I had it running on my laptop, its centrino dual core 2, nvidia graphics card on Vista. it will run ok ish, a bit slow tho. And 3ds max is a very complex program to use. You could really do with some training from someone who knows it well.

2.52 GB hard drive space, a graphic card 512MB and 2duo core processor.I think that is it.
And a lot of patience as Splodge said. If U don't know English too well... U can only hope that they have it in Ur language to.

I remember when i wanted to start with 3ds max and I downloaded a few tutorials on how to create a portrait in 3ds.. and I came to part when they said that I need a draw program such as corel or photoshop... so I said photoshop it is and after a while I quite 3DS max because I wasn't making any progress, I really sucked at it, I've only knew how to make a chess figure and an apple Embarassed. But i saw one thing, I was making progress in PS CS and I was searching for tutorials and I came across "Top secret" that's when I really made progress and after a while I found this site Very Happy.

In the end all I want to say is... find Ur self some nice visual tutorials on a dvd or something because without them, I think U are lost... or maybe I'm wrong.

3D StudMax, as mentioned by others here - a REAL BEAR to use. It is BRILLIANT, though. I studied on it (along with many other graphics and image applications) for 9 months when I went back to college in 2000. I'm sure it is even MORE of a BEAR now, and I'm sure it has even MORE interesting tricks.

But, in complexity of use, I'd rate it about Photoshop³.

Patience, again as mentioned, is something you want a LOT of. Very Happy

PS: I LOVE Rick n' Roll!

AC/DC RICKS!!!!!!!

I don't think so. The poster has entered one of our contests.

(Also a Rick Roll is something totally different)
