Hmmm...

I have a multi-layered/framed flash graphic (created by someone else) and I need to move it downwards on the stage. I select Timeline>Select All Frames, which it does, then holding down shift, I move the lot downwards.

However, when I then play the graphic, part of the image moves down, and part stays where it is originally. None of the layers are locked or invisable, so I don't understand why I can't select everything and just move it. Surely this should be a simple action?

Any help gratefully received...

Thank you!

Confused

Yep - same deal.

Aparently I need to do something called 'onion skinning' but this is a new one on me...

About to look it up...

Or send to a developer friend! LOL!

I am proud to say I've sorted out...after a quick learning session about onion-skinning!!!! Very useful - a new skill!!!

"To move the entire animation to another location on the Stage:

Unlock all layers. To move everything on one or more layers but nothing on other layers, lock or hide all the layers you don't want to move.

Click the Edit Multiple Frames button in the Timeline.

Drag the onion skin markers so that they enclose all the frames you want to select, or click Modify Onion Markers and select Onion All.

Select Edit > Select All.

Drag the entire animation to the new location on the Stage."

Very Happy
