low res guys are getting uset to scanning sideways, it's time PSC expanded, the 765pixel width we use now coz it's is so sad,
time for a massive shake up and re-disign, never mind a slight color change

well seems nobody noticed this

Pakimo, your design is great!
Graphic-wise and navigation-wise.
I really hope the new design will lean close to what you made there.

Good job!

Well whatever we do... we should do it. Who can actually make it happen? Maybe we need a voting system so we can settle on something good. I would try to organize it but I'm a moron and cant do that shit.

Here is something I threw together since I'm not quite tired enough to sleep. It's just some ideas. Note the drag tabs in the corners. This would be an ideal, although not necessary, addition that I have seen many people ask for. Being able to dynamically arrange the page contents would be great. I imagine the dragging to work a bit like the icons on an iphone, as far as snapping and auto-moving.

It would mean that everyone could do a layout to fit their preferences, cutting down on the amount of layout complains, I would hope. Doubt this will happen in this redesign, probably never will.

Obviously not a finished concept, but it's just an idea.

Okay... I've been working on a new layout.

Fullsize: http://www.treyadcox.com/psc/demo.jpg

I have this one coded 99.9%. The only thing I have to do is edit a couple more files to make it seamless throughout the site.

I've made the layout wider also.

Ok well I know my opinion wont make me many friends here but, why so dark and dismal, the last two IMO look very goth and if that is the size of the text Im going to need to up my glasses prescription. Ok opinion done with. I have said this and many agree this is a photoshop/graphic/image web site and the home page has more forum/text information than any thing else, I just feel that we need to display what we are good at, and I thought it was photo manipulation, I may be wrong.

Change can be a good thing, but it has to be a need thing and I think we need to fix the internal problems first and then lets dress us up.

Will go back to lurking now.

I wouldn't say it's dismal. It's dark, but it's more relaxing and pleasing to the eye than white. The image in the post above was just a thumbnail. the fullsize is here: http://www.treyadcox.com/psc/demo.jpg

About the image that was removed... Oscar removed that himself.
