Hello fellow PSC'ers. I've been searching flickr, deviantart, stockxng and many other image sites for chrome images (not Google Chrome Razz) and so far no success with it. Only got some low res shots. What I would like are images of chrome (normally auto parts) to make a chop. HELP Confused

EDIT: I found some on google but any help is still apreciated.

Why not make your own chrome? There's a bunch of techniques for making chrome in Photoshop.

One cool technique I've seen is taking any black and white photo and making it into chrome. I'm at work but I can hunt it up post it later if you want it.

It wont be as effective tofu, and I have little time. I need A LOT of time to learn how to imitate chrome, and for now time isn't in my favor. I want to make something close to photorealistic.
I've tried it before Laughing Laughing Laughing 6 hours for a piece of crap, nowhere near close
But if you could find it for future uses it would help a lot Smile Wink

Solutions:

1. Pm Rey2....threaten to kick his "pea-soup" ass, if he don't give up the TUT for the Chrome Skull Ring.

2. Make it in PS...make a 300x 300 or so file. Make a Chrome gradient. Save as a layer STYLE. Apply as needed. Even on the chop next week. Smile

3. Google is not too bad...Instead of searching for HI-res Images....Look for Chrome Wallpapers and Screen Savers. They are usually a decent size...and not to bad RES wise.
