Wondering if I should be concerned or not yet. It hasn't been all that long, and I know P is busy guy...

How long does it usually take to receive a prize from a prize contest?

about a year, no kidding... I haven't received my prize for my nightscene, not the gif that I won recently... He just forgets.. I gave up on it

He was around a couple of days ago and answered a PMed question I sent him. You can always monitor your Outbox. Your PM to him will sit there until he picks it up. Er... I might suggest waiting until after the start of Round 3. He probably has a few PMs waiting for him what with the Round 3 substitution issue. You don't want your PM to get missed in the shuffle.

I think it depends on the prize offered:

free ADVANTAGE time: a week or so

free SOFTWARE: you'll get it once the next version of said software is released (usually 5~7 months)

free MONEY: well, um... geez... I think I hear my mother calling me. GOTTA GO!!

I was supposed to get Poser for a winning entry I did in 2007...

Nothing.

Probably why they only have Advantage memberships and $50 via paypal...

The thing with 3rd party prizes is that sometimes they stop committing and my emails get no replies. Right now I can't think of a better way then just advantages and money prizes.

Understandable, though, the piece of software was supposed to be a $250 value...

Any chance of swapping it out with something else? $ via paypal, lifetime advantage, etc...?

Even if not the full $250 value, something close?
