Not really sure. It would have been in the days before high school I guess and a very small one teacher school.

What a great piece Bigbuck, My father has a notebook with all the pages written in red ink, exept for the last page, because the price for writing 10 pages without a fault was to write in red ink untill you made a spellingmistake again.

My fathers notebook is from 2nd World War days. His handwriting was tiny and pointy, which was the way they wrote in those day. Your grandmother had beautiful penmanship. Much more like what we learned in the 60's...
