Thank you all for your well wishes over the summer when I spilled my guts about hubby not working.

I finally found a job at the college I worked for before becoming a stay at home mom, and interviewed for it earlier this week. They just called to tell me the position is mine. It will be about another week and a half to wrap up paperwork and gather signatures, but I'll be back at a regular office job in 2-3 weeks.

My official title is "secretary I"

I appreciate all the thoughts and well wishes everyone sent... The power of positive thinking is amazing.

I have been out of work for about 15 months now, and just recently got a great freelance project, and tho it's not anything fulltime, I'm happy about it. Now I've gotta make my client happy.

AND, I've just billed my first retouch job!
OMG, I'll be paid for playing in photoshop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've met an architectural photographer in my area who was also struggling with no work, and he has gotten busy again. I'm happy for him - and ultimately he will give me more work from that!
Not full time, but a positive step!
