There is a lot of chopping to do in this recipe Rolling Eyes

Canadian Moose Soup

Ingredients
2 1/4 lbs moose (1 inch cubes)
12 cups water
1 large onion, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
1 turnip, chopped
2 parsnips, chopped
1/4 cup rice
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Directions
1. In a large boiler add 12 cups water, 2. ½ lbs. Moose meat.
2. Add chopped onion and let boil for one hour. Add chopped.
3. vegetables and simmer for 30 minutes. Add rice and simmer.
4. until rice is cooked. Makes 10-12 servings.

Dear Mr Rein.
i heard from my teacher last year.
i remember that she said Canadian don't eat seafood.
is that true???
is that stove never cook shrimp,crab,octopus or something fishy?

Tesore: those are WONDERFULLY Amoosing aprons. When might I expect them in the mail? Very Happy

Sanctuary: I am Canadian, and I do NOT like eating anything with LESS than 1 leg or more than 4. So MOST seafood is safe from my stomach. But many many Canadians LOVE eating pretty much EVERYTHING. BEWARE! Shocked
