I'd love to meet you someday Al, and if I get a boat ride, so much the better... I used to sail a lot as a kid. I crewed on a Penguin during frostbiting season, and usually on an Ensign during the summer. I also served as the shape lifter on the race committee for several of the summer regattas. Occasionally, the race committee and my skipper would "argue" over who got me that day. Sometimes, we'd get to go for a leisurely sail after our race committee duties were done. Rebel was around 36', I think. Lotta fond memories. The Zimmermans (Rebel's owners) used to sail her in the Around Long Island Regatta. There's a thought for you some summer.
