It is half time that why we are here.

oh and Canada were in the World Cup, 207 nations started the qualification for this tournement in 2008, unfortunately canada are not very good at football at this time and failed to get to the big show.

One day though huh Wink

So true and I would cheer heartily for that team. What I don't get is that teams ranked below Canada (63) are in it. Like North Korea, New Zealand, South Africa altough they make sense as the host country.

It's not about how high you are ranked. You have to qualify. Canada's flag is too leafy so they did not qualify.

Good comeback USA. We where wanting a draw out of this match. Laughing

Yeah, I get what you Canadians are talking about now. Football/Soccer must be really hard to play with tennis racquets tied to your shoes. I make no wonder you don't like the game. Laughing

So, soccer freaks, can someone explain to me how the US can advance? I'm assuming that if Slovenia loses their next match, and the US wins their next match, then the two teams are tied? And then it goes down to a tie-breaker system (i.e. goals scored againts vs. allowed, etc.)?

Wait. Slovenia would have to draw against their next opponent to have a tie if the US wins. I just remembered the points system.

If i counted right...

USA has to win, preferably with 2 goals difference (goal difference counts when Slovenia ties against England)
