Popular TV in the states is Crime Scene Investigation.

One of the most common tools they use is software that allows for extreme enhancement of terrible photos, reflections, out of focus images.

In these shows it only takes a couple mouse clicks to catch the criminal.

Is anyone using this software here?

yeah... it's called photoshop movie magic!!! ha!

they figure out in their scripts what the "enhancement" is supposed to reveal. they create that first, then backtrack the original image to incorporate the enhancement in a crappy way so that when they do the so called "enhancement" - violå Instant reveal of the exact thing they need to go catch the bad guy.

Perfect example, cornea imaging! ha
