Please. Someone. Write an ActiveX object that will smack the head of anyone using IE6 or below. Or one that will replace IE6 and lower with a modern, CSS-compliant, browser. Mad

Any of you using IE6 and lower (heck even IE7 and lower) should be ashamed of yourselves!

I'm sick of having to write web code for IE. What works in every other browser doesn't work in IE. So you get it to work in IE and it doesn't work in every other browser.

You finally manage a version that works in all browsers and then get told to put in another addition to the page. This of course breaks in IE and the vicious cycle starts all over again.

I FRIGGIN' HATE IE! Mad

End users are to blame for thinking that the default installation of IE on their computer "is the internet". Mad

I've met so many users who didn't know
1. that they could update IE to a more standards compliant and secured version
2. that there are web browsers out there that are better than IE in almost every way
3. that all of these upgrades are FREE

I tell you it's enough to make me want to bitch about it online.... oh waitaminute...... Laughing

Why bother with it though? I mean you could just say that whatever you're making might not 100% be compatible with IE.
