There's a nice free prog called VSO Image Resizer. If your image is ,say 800x600 and its over the PSC limit, use VSO and it will reduce it from say 400 odd kbs to about less than half that.

If you are talking about the image dimension size then it's this: http://photoshopcontest.com/advantage/index.html
If not, then it's all done with mirrors! Wink

You may be thinking of what happens to members entries. With membership the original is larger, your entry is larger, and you get the originals a month ahead.

Now I have seen some nonmembers enter their image then under comments tie it to a larger version posted at Photobucket or other off sites which don't have the size limits they have here. I have also seen that done with gifs, animation with larger k value then the accepted norms.

Hope that helps.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Thanks guys. Can't afford Advantage membership at the moment. Actually at the moment I'm sitting in a hospital bed. Not sure what exactly is happening. I have crohns disease and have had flare-ups before but this time has been much worse. Started 3 days ago with severe abdominal pain. Reached my breaking point Sunday morning. Only pain I can compare it with is the pain when my appendix ruptured 10 years ago. Having a probe done tomorrow from both ends Embarassed Let ya know more later. Don't know why I posted this here or at all really. Sorry.

Best of luck, hope you feel better soon. I know that condition is certainly no fun.
