Had a family issue come up that is going to take a lot of my time for a while so I wont be popping in as much as I would like.

So to set your minds at rest, no fire or flood or other act of god has caused me harm and all is as well as it can be.

Cyclone Yasi is just now making landfall very close to Townsville, it's a cat 5, so this will cause some big problems with heavy winds and more flooding, you guys take care down under.

On one of our newsstations there was a phonecall from a visiting radio show host who is backpacking and had to take shelter in Cairns... She told the news that the storm had left Cairns already, but they did have 24 hours of sitting in the shelter (shoppingcenter) and 4 hours of storm - she told the cyclone sounds like you are underneath a big aircraft that is taking off, 4 hours long......

That must sound way scary, if you have to find shelter in a brick building, that is pushed and pulled by the wind.
