I've seen this type of thing pop up here much more often then I'd like... and I think sometimes it is just because folks don't look at it from different perspectives. With creative things, I've found, it is always good to take a look from different perspectives.

Some how I don't think that Pablo, Johann, Ludwig or Michaelangelo would of placed their stuff on one of these sites if they had had access. So chances are that there are no real talents contributing ergo it ain't worth S&%t. It has to come from the soul to be great.

But what's to do about this other than taking out a contract on these places. Same situation in web design, "We can get my cousin's son from New Jersey to do it for $50." How many times have we heard this scenario?

I have to admit it tends to suck now more than ever for the average "pay the rent with my smarty pants brain" kinda folk. The economy gives everyone solid "permission" to be cheap and look for ways to weasel down the price on pretty much ANYTHING and ANYONE.

This is why I'm busy using my Smarty Pants Brain to create a serum (or maybe a syrup? Maple flavoured, of course!) that will turn me into a heartless Republican. One of the intended beneficial side effects is massive shrinking of the brain to a point where all it can do is add up number$ and find blame in others for obviously self-created woes. It isn't working too well yet - at this point it only makes me talk gibberish about American history and gives my left thigh a HELL of an itchy rash that makes it difficult to travel on public transit.

*sigh*
