I still don't get it how voting for any piece of crap they do will help them improve instead of making they earn the vote by not voting until they actually do something good, but maybe that's just me...

none can improve if they think everything is just peachy. look lets face it folks, if graphics is your thing, image editing wont get you there.. your going to need to produce layouts from scratch, that's making shapes adding textures and making them conform to design.. it takes time and is very frustrating, but it's rewarding.
