Hi all,

As a regular GIMP user mainly designing home made birthday cards for friends and family, I have chanced across this site.

I'm a bit confused by the requirements for the contests. Does the original image only have to form the idea of the entry; some of the pictures I viewed had no artefacts of the original image present!!

Daily contests start with a source image. You chop (manipulate) the source image to your hearts content. Ideally some part of the source image should be identifiable.

look close at some entries as they do have the source used in them. some of them also do not... and those are called cheaters, cheaters, cheaters. Laughing
