WTF is wrong with you???? Have you ever read a history book???

The history that keeps repeating itself? Civilizations rise, civilizations fall; under the weight of their greed and mismanagement. How many thousands of years worth of history do you need to read to realize that?

What magical fairy land history have you read with a civilization where everyone thrives, there are no class systems, and it lasts forever?

The Proletariat will inevitably rise up against the Bourgeois. Governments change. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Protest away; I support fighting back against those who impede upon your survival. Just don't expect long-term change. They will throw the people enough scraps to shut them up for another ten or twenty years.

i assume you probably own a few slaves... cause history repeats itself...

I guess you're oblivious to the sex (Edit: Apparently I can't use the proper word here, so I'll use "intercourse") slavery that currently exists. It's odd that you'd jump to a bizarre attack like that, just because Cringer8 has a cynical view of humanity, which is actually supported by our own history. He even said he supports what you're doing, he is just a realist. There is really no need to be such a baby.

Lol, bigger picture. Slaves were the lowest class when slavery was legal. All countries still have a lowest class today. That will never change. Things will always be unfair and the people who get the short end of the stick will always end up rebelling... in time. It just depends on how poorly the government performs at keeping them just happy enough while lining their pockets with tax money.

The World is teetering on the edge of a complete financial collapse due to its dependence on oil. When the shit does hit the fan, you will get to see all the "great" qualities of mankind come rising to the surface. Who knows, slavery just may make a comeback, too Wink

I already conceded that Anfa is right; I don't care. It's not that I don't care about the injustices perpetrated by your government (they are clearly wrong), it's that I don't care about civilization in general (it's always been wrong).

And when you say "watch the world burn," I can only assume you mean "humanity," because the world isn't going anywhere just because we do. I'm all for it, but I won't be eating popcorn. Can't stand the stuff. I'll be toasting s'mores Wink

If you want real change, don't reproduce. Let some other species have a crack at the top spot.

Jeezuz, man......and I thought I was cynical but you take the cake on that one.

So in other words, if it doesn't bring about this "REAL" change you're speak'n of then ....F*!# IT ...right? That's reeaallly what you think? So, if it doesn't change humanity for the better, for the duration of it's existence on this planet, then there's no point in even give'n it a shot, right?.. and not even to (potentially) change things while you and all the people you care about are here? WOW....that's a grim way to live.

Oh...and I hate generalizations like that

I don't like generalizations myself. There are typically exceptions to all rules. However, as a species, we are hard wired for individual survival and to continue our bloodline. That is fundamentally true in every human. We hate to see another member of our species suffer, but if it could increase the odds of survival for ourselves or our children, so be it.

I will never try to stop someone from "making a change," but I will always find it ridiculous when other people look down on me on for not caring.

I think maybe "Commander Crunch", or even "Rear Admiral Crunch" Sound too much like porn star names for a cereal spokes-cartoon. Then again "Captain Crunch" sounds kind of raunchy too. Oh well, the stuff just cuts the roof of your mouth anyway.
