I stumbled upon this site with quite a few interesting historical photographs:

I can't say navigating the site is easy, but the photos and the stories behind them are fascinating. I love this one:



Of course, the Nazis converted it to propaganda:



There are many familiar iconic images, but many more that I never saw before. I've seen plenty of images from WW I and WW II. Even so, there were some surprises for me in this collection. Not all of them have a war theme:



Anyway, I think it's worth a look.

Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow about 1932.
Maybe I'll get the restored and colorized image done and upload it. But I kind of get them done piece meal 'cause I get tired of working on the same picture. [img]
