I was wondering if anyone knows if this is possible? Could you embed a time into a image file, and when this time expires, it would corrupt the image file?

The file needs to be executable. So it could work with a flash exe file...

LOL chrispis.<br><br>I agree with what others said that this is not possible. But, you can watermark your pics if you are that concerned about anyone stealing them. Digimarc watermarks that you created can be searched for so you can bust out offending parties. Another plus is that companies can find you if they like your work, even if it is stolen by someone else and posted on another site.

rama - I have heard of a way of displaying image files that are clean in the browser, but once it is d-loaded, it becomes corrupt. However, there is still no way of avoiding the "print screen" method

well, I dunno about pics that people have downloaded, but you could make it so a pic hosted on a site with php enabled would make itself corrupt after a certain date, using php in the jpg file. E.G. my siggy:<br><br><img src="http://www.phazm.net/sig/siggy.jpg">
