Naah, it's not an anti-American thread.
My real reason for starting this is that when my American (that's the continent, BTW) friends go to bed shortly after I generally log in, there's no-one left to chat with. However, I know for a fact that there are many, many members here who are awake at the same time as me.
I should say that my European/African friends do log in and chat, but usually not until just before I finish work and head home.
The people I'm really targetting here are those who are up and able to chat from about 10pm PSC-time to about 6am PSC-time.
I know some people actively avoid the chatroom, but I should say that during the night it is a totally different atmosphere (just ask Heather). Or maybe you avoid it cos you think it's not cool. Well, hey,

is cool, OK?
Seriously, please give the chatroom a go. I'm going mental.
P.S. Thanks to the weirdos from all over the world that are around during the night when they should really be in their beds. You help keep me sane during my time in Taiwan.
