Hi,

I recently found this page and signed up since it seemed like a lot of fun. Well, now after taking part in the first contests I know it is.. Wink

So I just wanted to say hi and also have a question right away:

Is it good etiquette to post links to external images used? I've seen quite a few people do it, yet it's not in the rules... not in the written ones at least. Smile

Thanks,
Cubbie

Welcome.

While not a requirement, it is considered good manners to post your externals.

I used to always post them, now I only do every so often when I find it necessary, I will point out in my comments what is external etc, you can if you wish, you may get asked for them in other cases, depends.

Welcome though, you have arrived at the correct place Very Happy

Showing your externals lets us see how much effort you did or didn't put into the chop. It also helps if someone's trying to recreate your piece as a learning experience. Cool

Oh and welcome aboard! Very Happy

Splodge. You need some prune juice. And to breath.

Just.... BREATH.

Yea... THAT's it.

Good...

Now - hand over that BIG RED BUTTON to Uncle ReinMan... there's a good cranky Brit! Ta!

Breathing gets a lot easier once Splodge trims away those nose hairs.

I've never gone for externals simply because of time/effort. Plus I think it's pretty obvious from the original what I've used from the source pic. If it needs any differentiation, e.g. "all source except background" etc. I'll just write it in the Description bit. And welcome Cubbie Very Happy
