You guys are great.

I will review all your input later, but I get that Pointy Things shouldn't go in an EYE. The original thought was light entering a LENS, but obviously the mind sees it otherwise. So that's gone.

I appreciate Chrispis and Brian's ideas and will ponder them. A couple others have PM'd me with stuff too. I didn't want to be one of those PLEASE DO STUFF FOR ME FOR FREE people here, I just wanted opinions. But if I end up using someone's from the site I'll pay them Going Rate for their design. As you have noticed LOGO DESIGN is not my strong abiity - Thus my phocus on fotography! Smile

P.S. Polish - thanks for the warning, LOL! We don't have those stores in Canada, and I suspect that Chrispis doesn't have them in DutchyLand either!

Thanks Brian!

That is .... er, um; well - DIFFERENT! Yes, that's it. It is DIFFERENT. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into your latest idea.

Smile

Okay - for those who still feel like helping me out with your Ever Respected Opinions, there is another batch of logo thangs up on deck.

Batch #2 can be accessed through the dot on the 2nd "i" in Brilliant at
www.BrilliantEye.ca

(Batch #1 is now accessed through the 1st "i"' dot.)

As mentioned previously, I greatly appreciate your inputs, comments, and tea biscuits! Very Happy

ReinMan

P.S. you'll probably have to REFRESH the main page when you get there, as the "i" dot links have changed!

8: too busy design
9: too many different font styles/sizes
10: not bad... but in my opinion again too busy
11: i would move the cutout in the pupil to the left.. here it looks a bit like pacman Wink
12: neh... not really
13: COOL!
14: looks...uh... canadian..

I like 13 the most! The red color in b is also very nice but I dont know ofcourse how it will match with your website.
It looks professional..... creative... simple.... and the half circle/eye matches perfect with the text/subject. I also like how you aligned the text with the graphic. Cool one! Very Happy

I think this whole new batch looks better then the first. But I'm liking 9b, 10 and 11.

But I agree with fempie about the pacman thing. Maybe 10 and/or 11 with the same circles and light reflection rectangle as 9b.

IMHO

I like ten and eleven. They both have a real polish to them that, to me, looks very professional.

I think it's up to you and your team to decide whether you like a clean, simple approach, or something wth a little more pizzaz. Smile Either one would be a very strong choice, in my opinion.

I have to agree that #13 is pretty clean cut, I don't know about the red color though.
#10 doesn't look like it's being poked, that's a plus.
#11 : you should always put a Pac Man in official yellow colors
#9 is going on the good track IMO.
#12 : dude, I didn't know this was a sect...
#14 : NEVER display Canada's national symbol upside down, it is only allowed here in Québec.

I like 9b and 13.

The only thing about 9 is the word EYE in caps. It stands out and if you stare at it too long it starts to look kinda strange, not even like a real word.... EYE
Anyway, I say caps 'Brilliant'.

Go with 13 if you want it more simple but the reflection in b makes it look more like an eye, without it (a) it looks a bit like a target still.. It could be any color really, maybe you should match it to your couch??

8 - Not bad. It looks the most like an eye (cause of the oval I guess)

10 - Looks nice but made me think ''optometrist''.

11 - Again, not bad, very simple BUT fix pac man.

12 - Don't like it... what Michel said.

13 - Too busy for me.

Great improvements over batch 1.

This is only my two Canadian cents which strangely converts to two US cents (as of noon today). Even stranger... Two US cents will fetch you three CA cents, try it:
http://www.bankofcanada.ca/en/exchform.htm
I think I found a loophole!!

disclaimer:
- I have zero to .009 design experience.
- The above currency conversions were done with the 'normal rate'.
- I'm wearing ladies deodorant today cause mine ran out.
