does anyone have a good tut on how to make neon effect on a text? I found one, but it's not so good. I 'm looking for a very realistic effect.
I know roughly how to do that, but if somebody is a neon specialist!!!

ok, thank you guys. you're very helpfull: first, it's the stroke+outer glow stuff, then as on supak's pic, there's a lot to do with shadows and light around the text: it really makes the difference...

yep thierry, i haven't used layer effects. other than shadows, remember those non-lit extensions that keep the neon nailed to the wall.

I just max the text out on a new layer--full blast contrast and brightness--
make copied layers for blur--takes seconds-
this quick tut brought to you....oh bother
