As a new moderator but a fairly quiet member of the PSC community, I thought I'd let you guys know a little more about me. I've been a Photoshop addict from version 4 but only discovered this site only earlier this year. Once hooked on the site, I promptly quit buying PS magazines and books and actually started practicing and am having a great time.

I am a public high school teacher in Rock Hill, SC, and my students frequently call me *rashdog* to make my real name (Rashley) and myself (ha!) seem more *cool* to them. While I'm not totally fond of the name, some of my students visit PSC sometimes and I think it makes them happy to see me use it.

In any case, I look forward to working with everyone and JMH and the other moderators to make this site the best Photoshop site there is.

Although I haven't hung out in chat much, I do read the forums frequently. So I know a good bit about some of you already. I've pm'ed a few of you before as well. Also, while I think I have a pretty good sense of how the site has evolved, I may on occasion need to get some advice from some of you old timers.

Feel free to harass me at any time. As I told JHM, I'm pretty thick-skinned (teaching high school kids), so throw whatever at me. I'm also not on the site as much as I'd like to be, but this is about the only place I go when I am on, so I'll see you around.

I had a bunch of witty stuff to say, but now I can't think of it...oh well.

Thanks everyone!
Chris

Congrats on becoming a moderator. I'm one of the old-timers you speak of, so feel free to ask about any of PSC's ancient history (or at least my version of it.) BTW - I live in Pineville, so I probably could have opened the window and yelled this message, and you would have heard me. Laughing

.

Congrats on your new position

I have to ask...

In another thread discussing who would replace the mods, many names were brought up. Some more frequently than others.

Apart from Billtv and Nancers - HTUK, Splodge and Cynn made for popular choices.
Of course there are many other popular, outspoken, highly respected and long-time members who probably would have liked this position.

Up to this point you've been nearly invisible in chat and forums and are a relative newbie on this site.

What I'm trying to say is...

were sexual favours involved in any shape or form?

It seemed like HTUK had everything going for him but didn't play his "massage with release" card.

Howdy Mr. Dog.

I've never heard of you, but welcome to the ModForce. I guess I'll get to know you soon.

Hope your rash doesn't give you too much trouble!
