i have no idea whats going on.....can anyone tell me what this place is about?

Why would you sign up to a usergroup or board when you have no idea what it's about?

Seriously though, it's pant-wettingly simple:

1) Each day a random source image is posted up. (See the featured pic link above)

2) Members then have a maximum of 3 days to post their own manipulated versions of that image, and to vote on the similar attempts of others.

3) At the end of the three days, the one with the most votes wins that contest. (No megabucks prizes involved, but lots of kudos! )

4) Then it's back to step 1 and repeat!

Plus of course, there's a chat area, a tutorials section, and a forum for various image manipulation tips, fun and other frolics!
