Interesting vision you have, there.

Art can be dark, too, gents. It's about expression, and not everybody's about sweetness and light.

I have to agree with Cynn. Stopping someone from expressing themselves in their own way is bad.

I went to the site but I won't go back to it. It's just not my "thing". That doesn't mean I'd try to stop people from going there.

Old(er) Geezer talkin' here:

When I was a full time songwriter back in the 70's / 80's I went through a long stretch of years where my songs were all about how f*cked up and hopeless humans were. My songs were angry, aggressive and not very funny. I had to burn through this phase in my life. It was important for me to do, and important for me to find my way through it. Cynn is correct that (I paraphrase here) a true artist must have Light and Dark colours on their pallette of creativety... you just can't shine a bright light without throwing a shadow SOMEWHERE! For me, that time was about me learning the Dark Side of Life. It is definately there and all the prayers and meditation won't make it just evaporate. It was an important part of my development to find my place in between those two poles...

Now, in my semi-twilight years Razz I have also allowed myself to be affected my the GOOD side of Life. And there is MUCH MUCH that is good about life. And, as a young adult I had a hard time seeing those things. I guess I helped clear out the gunk in my younger years by doing those darker songs and poems. Kinda like cleaning a dirty window so I could see the real scenery more clearly...

So, like I said, if you aren't hurting anyone with your art and maybe making them think a bit (and not bullying them with it either!) it isn't a bad thing. BUT I myself can't support that darker way of experiencing the world anymore. My experience has shown me that laughter and a positive attitude is usually the best thing to reach for first - it has much more chance of adding Good Vibes to the World then when I point out the dark muck that we humans (all of us) tend to create as well.

There ya go! Mr. Morbid - all I ask is that you keep your EYES open as an artist and NEVER ASSUME YOU"VE GOT IT FIGURED OUT. That way Life will have a good chance to SURPRISE you along the way. I promise you some of the surprises you will like! Wink

Shocked wow WOW.........

Take it easy people.
Don't fight...
Well first of all............I am not trying to make the world evil, sick, bad or something.
What i do is trying to release my anger, sadness, pain, hate, etc,etc..... in a art form.
It will not hurt people physicaly.
People who can't express their selfs will turn in to angry and dangerous humanbeings.
I hate it when i have to explain my self over and over again.
READ THE INFO ON THE SITE.....
I life a normal live just like the most of you all do.
And you know what..........I'M HAPPY ..... Very Happy
My son is growing up in a save and warm home.
So think what you want........
It's like what my undersign say's "ART IS A PERSONAL THING".

PATIM: You know...I pitty for you. Life is to beautifull to waste it by negative thinking. But hey, your probably a product of your youth and you think that you can't do anything to change that.

Don't pitty me. I know what life can do to people.
I know what the world is going trough.
I know what life is about.
Things that i can change i will change.
I do it by ART.
Why am i a product of my youth?????? explain me that.
