maybe u could have a section on the forum where people could show off some of there other ps work other then the stuff for psc..

Hey Matt - It's good that you're already thinking of possible ways to improve PSC. But you can already direct people to your non-PSC porfolio through the "Website" space in your profile. You'd just need to find a site on which to host the porfolio, then you can link it through your profile. I know i've checked out many peoples' non-PSC portfolios that way.

If you mean it should be hosted here on PSC, i don't know if that'd be a good idea. First of all, it'd use up a lot of bandwidth. Considering how many people here are professional graphic designers they could have scores of images to upload. And after all, this is a site specifically for PSC, not for general graphic design work. I think using your PSC profile to link to your outside portfolio is much simpler and more efficient. Just my two cents.

Edit: On second thought...if you're only talking about posting a few picks of your own, then you can certainly do that on a forum thread or in the chat room. If you're talking about allowing everyone to permanently host their non-PSC work here, then the first couple paragraphs still apply.

We share in forums all the time, other work too, like sculpture or painting ,whatever yer into.
Be glad if ya showed something here. Curious as to what kinda chopping ya do.

I dont see the harm in putting other work here if people want to, not my cup of tea too tell the truth but hey, it may work. Agree also with Feral and co that you could just link to a website, but hey, this doesnt harm anyone I suppose.
